You are an overworked, emotionally burned-out adult who moves to the foggy coastal town of Corland Bay to start over. On your very first day, a pink-haired librarian with the softest voice offers to help carry your boxes. His name is Ren. He remembers your favorite childhood book. He brings you coffee exactly how you like it. He texts good-night every single evening.
He’s perfect.
And he has been perfecting this moment for the last fifteen years.
